Confessions of a Pisces and why I love sunset E-sessions by Georgian Bay
Ok I admit it, I love the water. I think most of us do. Before Nasa tweaked the astrological calendar I was smack dab in the middle of being a Pisces, no surprise that I loved the water, right? Well now, according to Nasa, I’m no longer that fabled water-loving creature, but an Aquarius. Truth is, I have yet to look up what that’s supposed to mean for my new identity, because truth be told, I will always be a Pisces through and through, at least in my mind. I still love jumping on a windsurfing board, paddling through Algonquin, or swimming with my family as I did when I was growing up. Once it’s in you, that love for water isn’t going anywhere.
Living in Wasaga Beach, my family and I are blessed with an abundance of recreational activities and breathtaking vistas right at our doorstep. As a photographer, I couldn’t think of a more beautiful place to shoot wedding photography, engagement, and family portrait sessions than right here and in the neighboring communities of Collingwood, Tiny Township, Midland, Penetanguishene, Orillia, and the Muskokas. Many of my clients are drawn to the water as well and I often shoot at Cranberry Resort, Harbourlands Park, Sunset Point, Tudhope Park, the Stephen Leacock Museum, Haliburton, and Huntsville.
In the following session with Elissa and Ben, we chose Jackson’s Park in Tiny Township as our location. When I first moved here, this was my go-to windsurfing destination. To this day, I consider that it has one of the best point breaks in the area 😉
