Orillia Engagement Photographer Waist Deep in Snow
Orillia Engagement Photographer Waist Deep in Snow
This past week was a fun-filled photography extravaganza complete with a Horseshoe Resort Wedding Photography Session, studio photography assignments for VIVA magazine, and a deep-snow engagement photography adventure at Orillia’s Grant’s Woods Conservation Centre and Homewood Park.
In this post, I wanted to draw attention to the addition of a new gallery in the engagement portfolio section of my website from my Orillia engagement photography session.
This shoot was an adventure as only a single track snowshoe trail meandered through the woods at the park. To get some of the angles needed for these shots, I was nearly waist deep at snow at times. Good thing I had my sorels!
Here are a few photos showing how deep that beautiful white snow really was. For the sitting shots, Tena and Corey are actually sitting on the railing of a bridge!

I absolutely loved the photos you took of Tena and Corry. Beautiful gentle snow. I really like her ring displayed as she was tying up the skates, Corry’s snowy back and the kiss in the snow buried junk car….just shows your sense of fun! I’m so glad they chose you as their photographer and look forward to meeting you!
Hi Greta, thank you so much for your kind words–I look forward to meeting you as well! It was an absolute pleasure working with Tena and Corey and I’m very excited to be shooting their upcoming wedding at Geneva Park in Orillia!
